For midface augmentations, we are using Cannulas as this is a safe way to inject fillers into deeper layer of the face.
To increase Volume in the midface we use dermal filler of the Juvederm range, Voluma, Volift or Volbella.

The ideal candidate for fat freezing is NOT overweight and has no loose skin. She/He should have a healthy lifestyle and exercise regularly. Small fat pockets that dont seem to respond to exercise (love handles) are an ideal target for cryolipolysis.
The difference between Fat Dissolving and Fat Freezing Treatments.
Fat Freezing and Fat Dissolving: The Clue Is in the Name…
Freezing involves applying very low temperatures via an applicator to the skin, thereby freezing the subcutaneous fatty tissue. That is a lengthy process; the results are typically visible after several weeks or even months. Fat cells do not tolerate low temperatures well and will die (=apoptosis).
However, there are additional ways to target fat cells, such as injecting fat-dissolving solutions.
The best-known Solution, Aqualyx, developed by Prof Motolese, has been commercially available since 2009. It is made of plant-based deoxycholic acid (synthetically produced) and formulated to dissolve stubborn areas of fat that won’t go away, regardless of the diet or exercise routine.
When the target area is injected with Aqualyx, it binds to the fatty cells and breaks down the membranes of the fat cells. This leads to an inflammatory response in that location, which then moves the broken-down fat cells to the lymphatic system to be safely and naturally flushed out of the body within 1–3 months after the treatment. Some results can be observed after a single treatment, with the best outcomes typically achieved after a course of treatments.
For best results, the number of treatment sessions highly depends on the chosen area, the fat/fatty tissue removed, and how well your body responds. The sessions vary from 2 to 5, with an average interval of 3 weeks apart.
WHAT IS FAT FREEZING, also known as Cryolipolysis?
Cryolipolysis is a non-invasive procedure for reducing fat that utilises a controlled cooling process to destroy fat cells and reduce their volume. This is an effective treatment, but is not an alternative to Liposuction treatment.
Cryolipolysis utilises revolutionary and advanced cooling technology called ‘Cryo Lipo,’ which targets and carefully freezes fat cells beneath the skin (this process is known as lipolysis).
Fat freezing (also known as cryolipolysis) is suitable for larger areas. But these areas can also be treated with Fat-dissolving injections.
Although rare, there are some risks associated with Fat Freezing:
Very rarely, Freeze Burn can appear, and there was the case of Linda Evangelista, who developed “Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia”.
At Cornwall Aesthetics, we have chosen to stop using Fat-Freezing and only offer Fat Dissolving Injections with Aqualyx or Cincellar +
Especially for body contouring in patients with a medium to more petite build, this treatment has proven to be highly effective.
